During our recent stay I stellenbosch this our was recommended by our guest house. We're very glad they did. It was very friendly and information and we tasted some fabulous food and wine. It also helped us understand the history of the town and where the best restaurants were for our stay. We would highly recommend.

What better way to see Stellenbosch than to eat your way around it. Thanks to Hanli our guide who escorted us around the different eateries and wine tastings and historical and tourist sites.
Well worth the effort.

Hanli is a great guide and really nice friendly person. Just the two of us on the tour so felt very exclusive. We loved walking with her, she is obviously popular with a lot of locals and brought the town to life for us. She is very well informed re the history of Stellenbosch ,pointing out lots of interesting and quirky facts. The food and wine tastings were very good We were surprised to be taken for an amazing Tapas style lunch then loved going to the local butcher, finding out how biltong is made, buying some then taking to another bar to pair it with wines !! Cakes at another stop, lovely owner telling us her dreams and aspirations, so yummy, finally watching chocolates made and having a selection to choose from. Surprisingly good afternoon. Well done Hanli and thank you. Loved it ! :)

The walk through Stellenbosch is interesting, the food and drinks delicious and Hanli is the best of all. We enjoyed a tea tasting with rusks, a wine tasting with biltong and boerwors downtown, a wonderfull lunch in the oldest hotel and finally a nice desert with coffee in a beautiful setting at the river. Good experience, thank you, Hanli!

This is an excellent alternative to doing a tour of a winery. It is a half day tour of the sites of Stellenbosch with some wine tasting and traditional food thrown in. Our guide Simone was very knowledgeable of Stellenbosch and was happy to answer any questions we had on South Africa in general. Simone also went out of her way to show us additional attractions in Stellenbosch that she thought we might like as a result of our conversation on the tour. This was a very enjoyable way to spend a morning in Stellenbosch
