We stayed over in Stellenbosch to be with my son at his 21st birthday party. The hospitality was warm and wonderful. The room was beautifully furnished and comfortable and the late night port and chocolate a thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was good served with a personal touch. The location is perfect.

We loved this guesthouse, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, the location was central but just far enough that it's silent (except the church, bring your earplugs for the church bells!), and the rooms were beautiful. There was an amazing attention to detail, from turning the heating blankets on while we were out, to having a nice night cap drink in the room for us :)

Excellent hospitality, large, very comfortable and beautiful room, excellent bathroom with a large shower. Just wondered why the room's door handle is so low! Or maybe I am too tall... Definitely i would advice everyone to spend some time there.

Bookings.com this is indicated as a 5 star BB. It is not. It has 4 stars. Very steep staircase - beware older guests and those with young kids. Breakfast is basic. Did not have Decaff Coffee. Person assisting on Saturday morning inexperienced. Did not cope with breakfast guests.

My wife and I only stayed one night, en route back to the UK after two months of rough travelling around southern Africa in a Land Rover. We felt luxuriously treated in a large room with the most comfortable of beds and a warm, well equipped bathroom, and finished our stay with a beautifully cooked breakfast next morning. The location is central, which is great for finding presents to take back, but also very quiet which is great for sleeping.
