Had lunch with a friend who go visits it frequently. The food/menu was good but the waiters was were rather slow to do anything and also to understand. There were a few interesting surprises on the sushi menu. The fish tank was also interesting.

Great Monday special, great service, traditional sushi chef in place, affordable local wines. Try it and enjoy.

We recently moved to the Western Cape from Gauteng. After trying several restaurants in the area and not very impressed we discovered Jimmy the Fish. What a wonderful surprise, the food is great, good value for money and the service above average. It has since become our favorite place to eat out and we will gladly recommend it to anyone.

We went with 5 kids between 7years and 6months. They were well excepted as it seems everyone there comes with kids because of the play area!

Thus not fine dining or surreal eating experience at all. Service was ok but far from great. Kids meals quite pricey. Adult menu quite reasonable with fair priced wine list. Somewhere between a Spur and a JOhn Dory.

Not bad but not great either!
