A small, attractive garden, with a focus on local plants; very useful leaflets and extremely helpful staff on site. A pleasant way to spend an hour.

Amazing environment and such a wide open space - breathtaking! Lovely (if pricey) shops and cafe too. A perfect place for a long afternoon walk.

I can honestly say that this is my favorite place in Stellenbosch. It is the most relaxing and peaceful atmosphere in the middle of a very busy student town. The Katjiepiering restaurant offerd very yummy food and is great for afternoon tea or just for a drink.

Not a big site so it need only take an hour or so or possibly less to look around but absolutely beautiful & free entry which is a real bonus. Good eaterie too.
