“Not for the shy!”

Setting absolutely fabulous, service superb, ambience exquisite, prices well above average so I guess it balances out! Tourists will happily pay but for locals its OTT.Always busy and you need to book.

“Beautiful venue excellent food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

We had a perfect hide away table, overlooking the mountains and vineyard's. Beautiful decorated in maroon char covers and couches with white linen on the tables. Good wine and selections of food on the menu. We were offered bread form a bead basket with olive oil and strawberry reduction vinaigrette. I had the pork with figs and my wife the sirloin steak. Both excellent choices. Dessert was delicious the purple figs, yoghurt, frangipane, honeycomb, honey almond ice cream and the lemon tart, passion fruit, meringue, coconut and white chocolate. Enjoyed the lunch the setting.

“Shine like a diamond!”

Graff family does it with sparkle with this classy restaurant serving only the best food around. With prices a little over the top for Stellenbosch restaurants, its credibility is being a member of the Relais and chateaux group of hotels, renowned for its first class hospitality and catering to hedonistic taste. Our last day and we chose to have game and kob (fish) - both were great. What tops it all is the tomato soup infused with flavors of herbs and spice. Dessert was special with purple figs involved and of course the house wines of the Graff Estate. Only downside was that service was slow and we had to wait 10mins to bread top up. I also just wonder IF, as an ordinary run of the mill restaurant it would do just as well with no affiliation to the Graff name? Hmm....

“Great place, great wine & great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2013

No expense has been spared to get Delaire vineyard in to best condition
As it at higher altitude than other vineyards, the wine has a delicate European flavor and the food is balanced to it.
you need to come early for lunch to get a good view of the mountains.
