I had read about Tokara on Tripadvisor and we decided to drop by in the afternoon for a wine tasting. The wine was decent, but not my favorite on the trip. However, it was a free tasting, which was a pleasant surprise. They had an opening for dinner, so we came back that evening. I am so glad we did! It was amazing from start to finish. We sat on the deck for a drink and enjoyed the sunset. For a main, we each had the springbok. I thought it might be "gamey", but it was sooooo good! For dessert, the Lemon parfait, ice cream and sponge with meringue was light and delicious. We split it and I really wanted to hog the whole thing it was so yummy! The service was great and the place was very nice. I'm sure it helped that it was the end of April and so it wasn't overly busy. The bill was extremely reasonable, compared to a similar North American restaurant.
