I have always wanted to visit the Taalmonument because of its beautiful lines and I was not disappointed. It is truly a magnificent structure! The museum was, however, a big disappointment and really not worth the while. Very disinterested "guide" at the desk. Although you have to pay for access, it is not expensive and a good place to have a picnic and look at the beautiful views from the top of the hill.
