Description: cosecha is fresh latin cooking with vineyard views. The name, Spanish for "harvest", reflects our location next to the harvest area where grapes are sorted and crushed at Noble Hill wine estate. Ingredients are grown on the farm where possible, and we maintain a thriving pepper and vegetable garden which you are free to explore during your visit.

We LOVE Cosecha at noble Hill - the servers are so friendly and gracious, and the food is great! Today, I had the pulled pork carnita sandwich - available as mild, medium or hot. My hubbie ordered the crispy tacos (chicken), and we shared a pitcher of white wine sangria. The place is becoming more popular, so important to call ahead for a booking, but well worth the drive, and beautiful setting. Great for kiddies, too!

We are 'regulars' at Cosecha Restaurant, at Noble Hill Vineyards, just outside of Paarl. The owners are a mother-son duo who have a real love for Mexican-inspired food. As far as we know, there is no other restaurant in the Paarl, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, area that can touch them when it comes to Latino inspired food. Their menu is always tasty (and reasonable), the waiters are excellent and welcoming and helpful (especially Morton and Jay), and there's lots of grass for the kids to play. Today I had a chimichanga w/ chicken and black beans and roasted bell peppers, w/ sour cream and fresh gaucamole. Excellent!!!! And, the fresh brownies w/ vanilla ice cream hit the spot. If you call ahead, you can also order picnic baskets - tables w/ umbrellas, or blankets for the lawn are readily available. Best to visit on a day when it's sunny and warm. The restaurant is covered, but open to the elements. Plenty of heaters around, but can still be a bit chllly on cold days. Wine tasting also available. Well worth the drive!!!

I have eaten here at least three times. It represents a breath of fresh air in the Winelands, given that it's food (which is primarily Mexican) is so very different to everything on offer elsewhere. The materials used are top class, including the huge array of chilis which are growth right there on the estate. The people are nice and the location is wonderful if you have a nice day. My only gripe is that none of the food is truly spicy, as I think Mexican should be. They supply pickled chilis and suggest using them to impart more flavour, but that is only partly successful. The Noble Hill wine is really very good indeed, with the Viognier a real winner.

Thanks for your review: we really appreciate it! Glad that you enjoy the concept, the people, and the wines. With regards to the spiciness of our food, we try to suit everyone's taste as best we can; we find that there is a really huge variation in what people consider to be too spicy or not spicy enough. Next time you're in, please let your server know that you would like your dish spicy/hot and we will be sure to give it some more heat!
