“Excellent wine farm”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2012

Always an excellent choice to visit the wine farm & restaurant. Restaurant inside, stoep or picnic facilities available. Picnic basket and wine can be enjoyed on the lawns next to the pond or relax under the trees on the stoep. Good wines at reasonable price.

“Beautiful setting, tasty food, great wine, friendly staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2012

Set on a wine estate producing some very good reds, they have a varied and creative menu that will satisfy the food preferences of even a large group. Sitting outdoors on the deck in summer is a great relaxing way to spend 2-3 hours enjoying a meal. Not for those in a rush, service is at a leisurely pace but the food is very fresh and nicely prepared - one of the few places where you get garnishes that are as interesting as the featured protein. And of course they have a great regional wine selection and good cheese and meat platters to go with!

“Price”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2012

Food overpriced. Waited long to be served. The only thing I could afford was coffee, tea and a scone. The view is fine, the scone well worth its price at least we 4 could share it(2scones). Its more of a picnic, venue type of place.

“Tranquil setting with good food and wine.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2012

We had a table for two with a terrific view from the patio. My wife and I both ordered the mushroom fettucini (R70 each) which was lick-plate delicious. The farm's own wines are top quality and the wine-tasting option is only about 30 metres away. A good idea is first to have a tasting and then have lunch. I have been here 3 times in the last 2 months and have not been disappointed.
