Description: Welcome to Noop. We hope you feel at home here, because that is how we think of our restaurant. After all, we spend more time here than we do at our homes. Our beautiful heritage building breathes warmth and hospitality. We know many of our guests by name; some of them have become our friends. As for us, we were customers before we became owners. Noop was established in 2005, and we had an affinity for the restaurant when we took it over in 2012. It's still as popular with returning locals as it is with visiting tourists, and we've kept everything people love about it while also making it our own. There's plenty for you to choose from, and we're sure that you'll find something you like. The meals are all fresh and so is the inspiration on our specials board. If you have special requests, we'll try our best to accommodate them. Whatever you order, you can enjoy it knowing that we make the same kind of food here as we do at home. Unpretentious. Often spontaneous. Always delicicious.

“Best gemsbock filet ever”

This is a restaurant no lover of venison should miss. The game comes from the owners own farm in the Namibian Kalahari desert and it is gorgeous, cooked to perfection in an elegantly flavpired red wine jus. The cfrem brulée could compete with good French restaurants. The service was friendly although there is room for improvement as far a efficiency is concerned.

“Highly Recommend”

We visited this fine restaurant over five times last month, and the owners Zian and Mariette are fantastic and always welcomed us with lovely smiles, together with their wonderful staff. Zian the chef is just great and the food simply marvellous and superbly cooked and served and presented. We went through the menu inclouding Ostrich and Bok and the line fish cash of the day was excellent and we cannot wait to go again next year.

“Truly Outstanding”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2014

As a South African now living in the UK, I frequently return home to visit family and friends in Paarl but this was my first visit to Noop but it definitely will not be the last. From the moment we booked until the moment we left we were treated like royalty. The food was outstanding and the service one of the best experiences we have ever had. We were there mid-week and the place was full so I would imagine if you want a Friday or Saturday night then make sure you book in plenty of time. We most certainly will be doing so next time we are back in town.

“Simply fantastic!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2014

We went on a 2 week vacation to Paarl and dined at Noop 5 times - we loved the place! Great food and very, very good service! We will never forget our two favorite waiters or the chef who gave us a bottle of wine to take home on our last night. We still talk about the cozy outdoor area and the incredible food. No staff can compare to the staff at Noop.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Do not leave Paarl without visiting this place!

“Very popular restaurant”

Seems like Noop is the place to eat at the moment, although we were fortunate to get a table without booking first, having dropped in at about 6.30pm. I can recommend the seared tuna salad with ginger, and the chicken Thai curry. Both complemented by a delicious bottle of Tokara Sauvignon Blanc.
