We were greeted by very friendly staff. The knew alot about the area and we could tell they had a passion for their work.

Coffee shop was amazing, awesome decor and a real homely feeling. Coffee was a bit expensive for the size that you are given and tasted average.

The staff are so helpful and always up for a good conversation.

I have done a few ziplines all over and this one didnt strike me but was still worth it. They could consider making it a bit more exciting and longer especially for the adrenaline seeking crowd.

All in all a pleasant morning.

We are a family of four with two teenagers and we did not notice the café/deli on our way to the Cango Caves. After visiting the caves we wanted some lunch but did not fancy the café in the caves. As we drove away we shot past this café but turned around and went back - we were so pleased we did. Whilst we did not try the zip line, we were pleased to be able to sit outside in the sunshine with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside for our lunch. However, if the weather was not so good the inside of the café/deli was extremely well laid out with sofas, tables and chairs and a lovely huge wood burning stove. Inside there were also various deli items for sale including a good selection of local wine, and good quality gifts. The café was clean and had a very welcoming feel to it which was complemented by the warmth of the staff. It was hard to choose what to eat - I had noticed people eating the fantastic looking deli boards - but in the end decided to try the ostrich 'babouti' as I had not had this local dish. It was truly delicious and came with some wonderful sweet figs and big chunks of the most wonderful homemade bread and butter. The rest of the family had homemade pizzas which they said were great. The prices were really reasonable for quality, homemade food in such a lovely setting - I would thoroughly recommend this venue for lunch.

Ziplining is not a first for me - so I had quite high expectations!

But the Cango Ziplining has outdone themselves.

Amanda assisted with arranging the experience and she is just a great person in general!

They have a small bus that takes you to the top of the caves and the friendly guides inform you of all procedures. The Zipline is broken up into two different sections - a short zip and then a fairly long one!

The view, of course, is spectacular!

They estate has a small restaurant filled with a selection of different things.

Highly recommend.

We visited the Cango Caves in April and afterwards did the zipline...what a pleasant surprise to find this great restaurant when we got off. The ambience is great, the food is great, the views are great, all the staff were friendly. I could have spent the whole day if time allowed. We had a platter and for the 1st time in my life I took a picture of my food. It was just too good not to share. More than enough to eat and all the food is well priced.

Stopped here randomly to eat and was pleasantly surprised. A really friendly waiter greeted us and was very attentive the whole meal. Even after we’d paid and took a long time to finish our wine. The recommended pizza did not disappoint and I would return if in the area again.

We thought ziplining would be the highlight of our time at Cango Estates but it was nothing compared to Sam's hospitality and kindness. My friend and I stood at Cango Caves Estate while on a Garden Route tour with Southern Circle. We were the only guests on the property but that didn't stop Sam from providing the best hospitality we had throughout our two weeks in South Africa. He prepared an incredible three course dinner for us. We spent the night chatting and drinking wine with the mountains in the backdrop. Sam roasts his own coffee and I'm still thinking about the figs and preserves he served for breakfast. The rooms are simple and comfortable with A/C, satellite TV and a pool.

Visited with two friends from the UK in mid Jan.Lovely place to visit after the caves and zip line. I has hoped there be more than two zip lines so a little disappointing with that. However the bar and restaurant was fab. Great for nibbles and the garlic bread was the best I have had. Service with a smile from the lovely Charlie. Thank you Charlie for great hospitality :)

A recommendation from other Trip Advisors not to stay at Cango Caves to eat but drive a short distance up the road ...... thank you, this was a Top Tip.

The people here are truly lovely. Go out of their way to ensure you have the best lunch & best experience ever.

We all had pizza - incredibly fresh & tasty. Then homemade cake & coffee. Slices were HUGE !

The restaurant Great Dane is beautiful and very friendly too.

Zip Line experience was really well run and great fun.

All in all - 10/10.
