On a visit to The Garden Route in The Western Cape a visit to Cango Wildlife Ranch is a must.

It has a good vibe with friendly staff clean well laid out paths and gang ways. The animals are in excellent condition and appear very relaxed non of the up and down pacing seen years ago in zoos.

The breeding programme is on going with great success and your visit will make such programmes possible.

My children loved it my wife and I equally entusiastic.

We have visited Cango Wildlife Ranch on many occasions, the last 2 being June 2012 and 2013. From the moment you walk down the path you feel welcome. All guides and staff are extremely friendly and professional. The guides have exceptional knowledge of the animals. There is so much to see and enjoy, that a day seems to be not long enough.

We went as a tour group and the lady( I forgot her name) who was our escort was very very courteous , had a wonderful sense of humour and provided every bit of information one would seek.Clicking pictures with the Cheetah's was the most exciting and adventurous moment.I strongly recommend this as otherwise it is not available in all parts of the world.I was lucky to do it twice!Getting the pictures on coffee mugs etc is also a good remembrance.Getting so close yet safe with the wildlife was an unforgettable experience. Must Visit !!!!

It was an awesome experience for myself and my family to be so close to these beautiful animals. The Ranch was amazing. The staff are friendly and professional. The way the ranch has been designed is stunning. We will recommend it to anyone going to Oudtshoorn.

We visited the Cango Wildlife Ranch in the begining of October 2013 situated just north of the main Town. This is truly one of the best Wildlife Farms there is. The entire vibe was different and the staff were so friendly. Besides the close encounters with the big cats, being able to walk amidst ALL the other animals and interact with them was absolutely amazing! The 2 month old Cheetahs stole the show and was a trasure to see.
