We visited the museum on a very wet day in Oudshoorn and were pleasantly surprised. Bigger than it looks from the outside. The displays are informative and the collections valuable and authentic.
Some interesting history on the ostrich farming as well as the town in its heyday.
Perhaps not the most child friendly as some of the displays are within easy reach of little hands but it's worth the effort. Paid 45 Rands entrance for family of 2 adults and 2 kids.
