Thank you for taking the time to review us on trip advisor

I am happy to announce not only is the bike track fully running but on the 29th of March we hosted the Second Surval Mountain Bike event, we have incorporated the track on the estate its self and extended it to cover 70km of cross country track during events. The track on the estate is self is a 2.2km loop that starts and finishes at Su Casa restaurant and guests are able to post their times on a time board at the info center

Many thanks

It is a nice estate, with nice views and swimming pool. The family room is great. We were there at christmas eve. In the afternoon all energy apperently got into the lunch because we had to wait for our evening main course for more than two hours. The meat was already grey and reached the limits for human consumption . Especially when you eat it raw you get to notice it. Also breakfast was an excercise in patience and although the nice scenary compensates for a lot, there is a limit.

Service was clumpsy except for Marc who saved a lot of miss happens. If You want to be a boutique hotel be bettef on food an service. The basics are there now it is about management.

I do indeed recall your visit in December of last year. I would encourage you to visit us again on your next trip through the Karoo as I believe we have more than addressed the concerns you experienced while here. I hope we see you again soon

Many thanks

I work at a competing Hotel in the Oudtshoorn district, and for the first time I decided to go with friends to Su Casa Restaurant, being bored with the choices of restaurants in town.

What an experience!!!! If our Hotel's guests don't dine with us, I will send them immediately to Su Case. Not only do you receive value for your money but they are affordable!! And if this is not enough. You can either sit inside or outside, at a table or on lounges and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It's just simply stunning!!

Music is good and relaxing with modern and older sounds mixed. So young and old can enjoy it!

Definetely a must! I am sure that almost the whole population of Oudtshoorn regulary visists Su Casa. :)

It is wonderful to build bridges with the local community and we have chosen to position ourselves in such a way that our local guests are as able to enjoy the estate as much as the international traveler.

Many thanks

We stayed in this beautiful and very quiet and relaxing lodge and we loved it. The service was very friendly and professional, the restaurant was very good, and - most of all - the de luxe room was very well and tastefully designed. It was a bit cramped due to two leather chairs and there was no door sparating the bath room from the sleeping room. But this was not a problem at all as it just accentuated the design patterns of the room so beautifully. The lodge is beautifully located and we can recommmend it wholeheartedly.

We recently stayed at the Surval olive estate in Oudtshoorn and what a great place it was. The setting is truly beautiful overlooking the swartberg mountains. The accomodation was excellent with a Large family room (kids upstairs), and fittings truly fit for a king. The food was excellent and thus we had no need to go looking into town for any of our meals, this saw us having all three meals at the estate for the two days of our stay. The staff was ever helpful and thus added to our overall impression that this is definitely a place we will come back to again.

If comfort style and being spoiled beyond belief is your idea of a night out, than Surval is for you! Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly well trained staff! Our room was breathtaking, the food as good as any fine dinning restaurant in a city. We indulged in the olive tasting! This was a wonderful experience the olive jam and chutney is addictive .......yum yum!
