After five days of sampling the finest dining experiences in Cape Town and Franshoek we felt this lovely restaurant could stand up alongside if not higher than most of them. Service and setting excellent and maitre d' friendly and experienced. Don't miss it if you are in this town. Ps the amarula creme brûlée was divine. Loved it all. Thank you.

Wow, what an amazing experience! The food was wonderful, the service prompt and friendly and the atmosphere cosy and intimate. The ostrich fillet was soft and tender and the dessert chocolate fondant was out of this world! I recommend it to everyone! I just wouldn't be able to pass through Oudshoorn again without stopping for a meal at Kalinka's. Thank you!!

Service excellent, efficient and helpful. Food smart, interesting, well presented but just lacked something. Don't be put off this is still a top restaurant!

Spent a very nice evening here, we had to have the main doors closed as it was a little windy, It wasn't over busy but it was mid week, we were looked after well, and the food very good, well presented, there are specials to choose from along with the main menu. it wasn't the cheapest meal we had in SA but didn't come away feeling we had paid to much.

The menu and varied, the food was excellent and the staff friendly. In fact we enjoyed it so much the first night, that we went back the second night which we seldom do while travelling. The service was a little slow, but then again none of us were pressed for time so it was a relaxed evening meal. A+++++
