This is the best service i have once experienced in my life time so far, i had a nice time looking at the beauty of Knysna every minute you open a curtain. I was wowed by the service i got from Vanessa and she really helped me to understand the place and prepared nice breakfast pack for me and my wife as we left early from Kynsna.

Room Tip: make sure you car is well serviced to be able to see the Beauty of this place

We've stayed for 3 nights and the location of the hotel is fantastic. The first morning we even saw a beautiful rainbow in the lagoon. Our room is the best one which is value for money. We could see the Heads in the balcony.

We enjoyed the breakfast so much with the great view. Last day, they even prepared a delicious breakfast box as we left in the early morning. The parking place is safe.

It's very near to waterfront and other attractions. We recommend you and your family to stay here while you are in Knsyna.

What a view! Knysna is well known for its view, and this place has got to be one of the best places you could take in such a scenic vista. We only stayed there one night, and we were the only guests who were there at the time. We were offered us upgrade (only time that happened whilst we were in SA), which alas, we couldn't take. But our room was great, so I'd love to have seen what the upgrade would've got us. Our host was great. Made us feel very welcome and was full of advice of what we should see, both in Knysna and on our onward journey. The rest of the house was very warm and comfortable, with a nice breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend this place! Thanks very much for the stay!

Once we found the Blue Oyster (at the top of the hillside) we were well pleased.
I think we had the best room in the house which could not be faulted.
Service by Vanessa and Charmaine was efficient, charming and helpful.
I recommend this small hotel to couples; whether its location and outside space is good for families I'm not sure but it does have a small pool Ok for kids.

Room Tip: We had a double aspect room on top floor (garden and Knysna views) which was excellent - with king...

This lovely, well-appointed Bread and Breakfast Guest House offers wonderful views of the city of Knysna, the waterfront and The Heads. Rooms are spacious and well furnished, service is excellent, and several lounges, pool, and out-door living spaces provide pleasant areas for relaxation and enjoyment. Staff is considerate and professional providing any assistance requested. It's a great place to stay and an excellent value. I loved my month long stay there.

I would highly recommend the Blue Oyster to anybody visiting Knysna. Vanessa and Charmaine are excellent hosts and very knowledgeable on what to see and where to eat. The room that I shared with my daughter was very spacious and what a fantastic view! Everything was just wonderful and it was the highlight of my trip.

Picturesque Guest House with one of the best views of Knysna - and just a minute's drive downhill to town.

Amazingly clean and well appointment rooms, friendly owners, delicious breakfast.

Truly a home away from home.

Thanks for a great stay!
