Start off on a paddle steamer and then head across the pond to the fetherbed reserve. From here you are taken up hill by 4x4 to the summit of the Knysna head and then its a steep walk back down. Views are amazing for the whole of the trip. At the end lunch is served in the most amazing treehouse/restaurant which was also superb. Only slight quibble would be the price but who cares when your on holiday!

We went on this trip and enjoyed it only for the fact that you could get great views across the lagoon, the islands and back across to the mainland. We enjoyed the boat-ride with a narration that was interesting, and the truck to the top. The walk down was fairly rugged, but delivered some fantastic views. The flora and fauna was sparse. We didn't have any food on our trip but there was a bar at the end for a thirst quencher.
Nice people, good views but that's all.

The views over the lake and coastline are brilliant. The island tour/walk is breathtaking. The buffet was superb.
