“Disaster never again”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

Right let me start by saying i was here not so long ago round about end Feb beginning March and the restaurant needed some work to be done to the interior of shop this has been done and is a vast inprovement.........
Thats all positive........
Service not great at all waitress/ manager or so she says is always busy with something else and not excatly dressed for the managerial position as all managers in restaurants ive been in have been very well presented really neat and tidy hair not standing all over and very good at what they do also don't flustered when questions are asked more of a shouting queen in the background which i dont think the staff take very well especially the kitchen has this woman ever done something as important as this before o dont think so.

On to the food.....
Clear that there is not one of the two chefs still here when i was here the last time there was a young guy quite presentable and knew his stuff well including talking to guests and just a proper restaurant manner and then also a older guy also very knowleageable...
there food was good and you could see from the open kitchen plan that they have that the guys knew how to run a kitchen
Steaks were over cooked fish was not in the least bit fresh and the wraps were pathetic!
teh food and service was an absolute disaster not to even mention desserts.
i for one will never set foot here again and i for one am atleast writing about it how meny of clients sir are simply just saying never again cuz i can asure im not the only one!
Get your house in order or it will fall apart a decent manager and chef would be start on the road to recovery so to speak you had great chefs there im sure you could get atleast one back if you tried without quality controlled by a chef and the service standard checked by a manager im afraid sir your boat will sink!!!!!!
Goodluck to everyone who still dines here i will never be back!!

“Rancid Steak”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Just finished dinner at Classico and the only word to describe the food was rancid. I am pretty sure the steaks were pre-cooked and then frozen and then defrosted in the microwave before being served. The mash had a strange boarding school cabbage smell however had absolutely no taste and the vegetables were so over cooked they would not sty on my fork.
I had the sirloin and my wife had the rump and both steaks were the same.

We eat out a lot and I have never posted my experience before, however I have actually never had such a bad dinner before. the kids had the seafood paella - here's holding thumbs for the morning.

“Satisfied customers.”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

All four of us were pleased with our meals. Juicy steaks with hot crispy chips. Deliciously spicy lamb curry. Good sized portions. Service from Sharief and Lisa was excellent. Definitely coming back here again. However, we preferred the look of white tablecloths.

“Great value for money”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

This restaurant at the knysna water front was one of the best value for money meals in knysna. It has daily specials and we had the rib special on Monday night. Brilliant. Well worth the effort of going out on cold winter nights!
