“A bit disappointing”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

I love the town of Knysna, but the waterfront just does not come up to scratch when you have been to the Cape Town Waterfront. There are some nice restaurants. We had very good fish and chips at the Ocean Basket. You can book your boat trip to the Knynsa heads from here, so maybe the two stars is not really fair.

“Restful after the adrenalin”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

We stayed at quay west 7 and i must say that i was most impressed when we arrived. Tammy was welcoming and her passion for the area and its surroundings was testament that we were going to have a great time.
The apartment was the epitome of 'a place for everything and everything in its place'. Everything you would use at home was there. the thought that went into the setting...and arriving to nibbles in the cupboard and fridge, shows that a womans touch is the best touch.
i would really recommend visiting knysna and would most definitely recommend quay west 7, not only for its splendid location (the view over the water makes lovely breakfasts) but mostly due to the owner Tammy. its people who are passionate about what they are involved in that makes what they do beautiful....especially if its allowing us city folk some rest time at their place at the waterfront.
Ps...the choccies are a great idea

“A great place to eat and watch the boats!”
Reviewed November 9, 2012 via mobile

Fellow trip advisors, if ever going to little ol Knysna make sure this is one of your stops. There's plenty to do from here, this is Knysna's tourist hub. Great eating spots eg: JJS restaurant and much shopping too. From here it's worth catching a ferry to see the heads or doing a day trip out to the featherbed. Or if you more relaxed soak up the sun by enjoying some ice cream while watching the boats go by. This is the place you want to start your Knysna journey

“We liked”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

This place hjad several shops selling african stuff, various restaurants and eateries of various categories
and even if you do not want to spend cash it makes for a very safe and pleasant walk along the shore close to the boats. We went there a couple of times ( we were staying at the Protea Knysna next door so we had very easy access. Well worth a visit
