Owner description: The walk follows over 1km of wooden board walks and bridges across streams and is entirely wheelchair friendly and ideal for the elderly wanting to visit the forest. There is a number of wooden benches and tables along the trail to sit, snack, picnic or enjoy your 'padkos'. Water and ablution facilities.

We spent an aftermoon walking around this gigantic avery set in rain forest. What a memorable experience it was to see & hear birds from all over the word.

“Forest Walk”
Reviewed February 22, 2012

Amazing bit of rainforest just off the N2. Very underrated. All the trees are named. Good for a quiet walk through the trees undisturbed by too many visitors. Left just as nature intended.

“Worth taking the time”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

Just at the side of the N2, it's not immediately obvious that you park on the eastbound side. R10 to enter, you then follow a boardwalk path that's about 1km total. Not big, not fancy, but a fascinating glimpse into what the forest used to be like. Many trees are identified so you can brush up on your yellowwood, ironwood, etc spotting skills.
