Incredible. You have to see it at its most placid AND at its roughest. When its placid, there is hardle a ripple, let alone a wave coming through, there is no wind, the water is blue and you can see down 20 feet. Just beautiful! And at is roughest during a summer gale, there are these huge 20 ft or more waves coming through in which no boat could survive. Impressive and scary. If you can, try and stay at the heads but accomodation there tends to be pricey, very pricey, but I suppose with good cause given the splendour of the location.
