I never knew the old club house which burned down a few years ago, but the present club house is beautifully designed, spacious and a first class venue for functions. The staff are all very helpful and welcoming. The course is well laid out, and there are some very deceiving holes on the way round. Lots of water hazards, which I personally find to attract golf balls like bees round honey! Take a good stock of spare balls with you! The greens are surprisingly slow, so perhaps there is a little room for improvement there. Halfway house is quite simple, but in the warm climate of Knysna, it is more a liquid intake one needs, rather than food. However, the food on offer is home baked and very good. staff are very friendly. The pro' shop is very well stocked, and reasonably priced and offers good service, unlike most pro shops which I find to be very expensive and somewhat unwelcoming. Being a very flat course, it makes for easy walking Lots of trees, and accompanying language... take your "tree iron", or a good "wood"!
