Brett, is a very experienced skipper and made the usually scary cross of the Knysna Heads a fun, safe and thrilling ride. A unique experience in a unique place.

“A wild and wonderful experience”
Reviewed May 30, 2011

Where treated to a fast and furios & fun boatride at Knysna Rib Adventures, whilst working on my travel radio show. On our first attempt the weather did not play along - but Brett got up extra early the next day to take the two of us out for the most entertaining ride of a lifetime! The boat is fast, the ride is furios and it is all fun!!! Brett is an excellent skipper and not the largest most intimidating wave could scare him. We went for a long boat ride on the coast and I must say - he is so good and so aware of safety that I would put my child on his boat any time! Thanx Brett for a great time - you will hopefullly see us again!

Reviewed May 22, 2011

Sent to e-mails to company to organise trip. No replies. Got up early and headed to dock to see if could go on 10am trip. No one there even after waiting 45 mins from 9.30am till 10.15am. Dissapointed.

“Knysna Rib - An absolute must!!”
Reviewed May 19, 2011

Do not miss this trip. Just being out on the ocean bouncing across the waves in the rib at high speed was exciting and thrilling enough, with the different sights, scenery and wildlife, but when Brett ( the owner) found hundreds of dolphins, two whales, seals and countless birds in a feeding frenzy amidst a fish bait ball, it was unbelievable. The ocean was 'boiling' with activity and we were in the middle of it!! Just pointed the camera and shot photos. It was absolutely incredible. We could not stop grinning. A total highlight in anyone's book. Loved it.

“Awesome Adventure through the Heads”
Reviewed May 10, 2011

Took the 10am tour, 30 April, with 4 metre swell on the most exhilarating tour through the Heads out to the open sea. On this ocassion we did not see as much wildlife as we would have liked - however, this was not due to any fault of RIB Adventure, just unlucky with the cold weather.

We did see an albatros, seals and whale 'blow' - albeit not the actual whale.

Our journey started inside the calm Knysna lagoon and soon turned into the thrill ride of a lifetime as we headed towards The Heads and through the massive surf out to the open water. We sped along the edge of the breaking waves rising up and down on the 4 metre swells - it was amazing !

A 'must-do' tour for anyone visiting Knysna !

Thanks for a breath-taking adventure, we would definitely do this again if we are in the area !
