“Nice spot for sunset and oysters”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

After asking locals where to get oysters, this was the place that seemed to be overall choice. They had several choices of local oysters, lots of beer and wine to choose from and a great view with a friendly staff. The atmosphere was nice as well and shanty ish. If you want to enjoy some local seafood with a view, this is the place for you...enjoy

“Good value and unpretentious”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

We came across this place one evening and stopped and had a bottle of wine as we had already eaten. The manager was a friendly chap and said "come along tomorrow"

So the next day we went again and had a very friendly "hello, I've been waiting for you" from the same chap. He went on to say "if you don't like the food, I'll pay for it".

Luckily for him, the food was good and fresh. We had prawns, salad and nachos, although oysters are what this place is really about.

“The Oyster Catcher”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

Had an amazing lunch at the Oyster Catcher consisting of Oysters and champange. Their prices are very reasonable and you overlook the lake.
Only thing we had a problem with is that we asked for some potato wedges and salad to go with our oysters to share. Too many potato wedges, couldn't eat them all. Very worthwhile vist.

“Excellent oysters!!”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

This quaint restaurant has excellent oysters and you cannot beat the price!! They have live music on weekends which sets a lively atmosphere. It was lovely to sit outside next to the lake while watching the sun set over the lake!
