We had lunch at Cafe Mario and they were very kind and helpful. I had been unwell and just wanted toast and Marmite. Our waiter informed me that they had finished breakfast one hour previously. When I explained that I had been poorly and just fancied something light, he did indeed bring toast and Marmite. My hubby and daughter both had Pizza and were very satisfied. We also went back again for dinner a few days later. Again they put themselves out to be extra helpful. We went along on the night of a Chelsea match (it was the match when Torres scored his first goal!!!!). We originally planned our visit around the game, booking a table for after the game and we would arrive from our hotel which was 10 mins away by car. On booking, my hubby noticed a Chelsea flag and got talking to the owner of the Cafe. He told us that we should come during half time and he would give us a table that had great views of the screens. That he did and all 3 of us had fab views of the match. Apologies goes to those who were in the cafe at the time as we were really glued to the screen and lots of cheering when Torres scored. I for one would certainly love to go back to Cafe Mario.
