Nice variety of a la carte food, something for everyone at a reasonable price, beautiful views of the yacht harbour - a fun place to be, both for a peckish afternoon bite or supper !

Had an excellent steak here, very tender and tasty. prices reasonable. Is very busy all day long, so may have to wait for a table. The waiter we had, had a very dry sense of humour, but provided good service

We ate lunch at The Drydock Food Co in early January. It took a long time to be able to order our food and an even longer time to get it. When it arrived, the oysters that we had ordered as a starter had been forgotten. We tried to get a member of staff's attention to correct this and to order extra drinks. Despite there having been many, many staff around, they suddenly disappeared at this time. There appeared to be four managers at the restaurant but we could not get their attention either. They seemed more occupied in making sure that guests did not push together two tables. We eat our food, which was bland, boring and left us still feeling hungry. We tried to find a member of staff so that we could get the bill. No one came near the table. All the tables around us who arrived after us had, by this time, ordered, been served, paid and left. And still we were ignored. Even when we asked passing staff for the bill, nothing happened. We complained to the overall manager. He said that he was sorry that we were upset, not that he was sorry for the poor service. A small discount on the bill or a glass of wine would have been a nice gesture, but none was made. A terribly disappointing experience from a restaurant that seems to rely on its prime location alone to draw diners in.

Granted the place was very crowded, but please hire more help! It put a "downer" on our visit right from the time we sat down to. While the waiter was apologetic (and not his fault), management should be prepared for tourists. There was a nice variety of offerings on the menu; the food was o.k. - nothing to rave about.
