Chatters was recommended to us for it's good food and because we had seafood and fish over the previous days it was a good option. Choosing from the menu was very hard. I easily could have picked three or four meals I fancied. In the end I went for a thin crust Pizza al Fresco and it was delicious. If you could not finish your meal you were offered a "tomorrow box" to take home what you could not eat. I however had some room for delicious warm waffles with home made vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. All this was a good value for money meal and a good alternative to all the big meat and fish dishes you usually get in South Africa. Nice place away from the Waterfront.

Excellent basic pasta dishes. Friendly service, but rather slow when we there last. Lovely to sit outside and watch the tourist groups from nearby hotel walking to the Waterfront restaurants - where they won't find value like this!

We read up on this on the Net and can second the positive experiences from other guests: Excellent service, funky staff, friendly AND good food. What more can you ask for. Pizzas are A1 as is the potato bake - sufficient selection of wines, within easy walking distance from the Waterfront - a bistro to return to, no doubt !

This place makes the most wonderful pizza. It has its own oven. the cost of the meal including 2 pizzas, pudding, and 2 beers was less than £20. very good value for money

Not fancy, but good service with excellent food at reasonable price. Save space for desert, ask for the home made.
