Beautiful restaurant overlooking the bay from the New Harbour.
Setting was matched by the food. I firmly believe that this has to be one of the best places to eat around the town. How anyone from The UK can fault the prices, or quality I have no idea. I fancied fish and the grilled hake was absolutely to die for ... And cost the princely sum of 75 rands which is less than a fiver ! Grilled to perfection it melted in my mouth...my wife had seafood chowder which was stunning, and the mussels starter I had was delightful, some of the finest I have tasted. The grilled Kingclip was also a delicious main course to be recommended. The ambience was very pleasant as was the service. Great wine at giveaway prices made this, as in so many South African restaurants, a meal to remember. Anything like this in the UK would have cost more than double, and we would find it difficult to get fresh grilled fish like this away from the coast. Definitely worth a return visit to try something else from their menu !
