We have just returned from the most fabulous weekend at Auberge Provence in Hermanus. We have had the luxury of staying in amazing hotels all over the world but never have we stayed in such a fabulous establishment. It calls itself a B&B but it so much more then that. Fabulous not only because of the stunning suite we were booked into but the service is second to none. Professionalism combined with such wonderful warmth. Hazel, the manager is unbelievable! We have never felt so at home and yet were allowed our privacy. Hazel made such a fuss over our young daughter. First to impress was being greeted at the gate by our first names, daughter included. Such a lovely personal touch. Welcome drinks were very refreshing. Having gone ahead and made reservations for us at two lovely restaurants in Hermanus, Hazel of her own accord changed the booking to accommodate my six year old daughter, knowing an earlier time would work better with a younger child. Colouring books and crayons were provided to occupy my little girl which delighted her. We enquired about a lunch booking at Bientang's Cave and once again Hazel offered to make us an early lunch booking. The B&B offers a lovely, complimentary afternoon tea everyday between 3:30-4:30 and once again there was always something special included for my daughter.
