Specialises in Asian food in particular. Lovely ambience and decor with a nice friendly 'feel' about the place. Good food and reasonable prices make this good value for money and well worth a visit.

“Vibey spot”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

Lizette''s Kitchen offers a bit of a fusion menu, many different things to choose from. Some Asian inspired, others more pub fare. All meals we ordered were presented with flair. Some portions a bit small so confirm with the server what it is that you order. But altogether a fun night out.

“Delightful food, staff, service, setting.”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

Lizette's has a vibrant, Vietnam-inspired menu with something for every taste. If you're after something different, healthy and original, Lizette's would suit you perfectly. The wine list is wonderful, the staff super-friendly and efficient, and the setting is nothing short of perfect. If you're looking for the perfect Mojito, Lizette's barman will make you one to die for. The hand-crafted chicken burger (only R20!) from the kiddies menu keeps my toddlers coming back for more. On a Saturday afternoon we like nothing more than sitting on the sunny terrace with a good bottle of wine, watching the world go by. Be sure to visit Lizette's if you're tired of the tourist-overrun town centre and 'waterfront'.

“Outstanding resturant in Hermanus”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Post this years Two Oceans Marathon, we took a little trip to Hermanus for a quick look around on route back to Plett and spent the night. Whilst there, we stumbled across Lizette's Kitchen and decided to pop in for a bite! well what an experience. Lizette herself lived in HongKong for 9 years where she learnt the art of cooking and she personally oversees each meal that leaves the kitchen. The decor has a personal touch, from family items to treasures collected while living in Asia. For those not keen on Asian food, she does a real good lamb shank too!! Opions for all tastes. Well worth a visit!!

“Exquisite!”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

Lizette's Kitchen has every thing to offer - combining Western Cape and South East Asian (mainly Vietnamese) cuisine. This beautifully designed restaurant in Hermanus with its exquisite eclectic menu goes beyond the culanary pampering of one's palate. Magic winter evenings in front of the fire place, or sitting out in the beautifull garden during the summer, surrounded by Westrern Cape and SE Asian art crafts, the professional and friendly staff and the amicable ambiance combined with the great wines and delicious food make this venue an absolute MUST while visiting the Western Cape!!!
