“Home” that’s what OT lodge felt like when we walked in to stay. The first thing you would probably notice is the garden amid a magnificent backdrop of the Outeniqua Mountains, not to mention the tiny pond area which just compliments the beauty of it all. This tastefully furnished home is well suited for families and couples alike.
Unlike other budget accommodation, there is ample free in house parking space. All rooms have cozy queen size beds, storage facility and an ensuite bath.
The essence of the space is well captured in the inviting living room and lounge! The cracking fire place just makes it so much more comfortable during the famous South African winters.
The open kitchen policy allows guests to dish-up their favorite meal in the chic kitchen environment, be it soup bowls or wine glasses you have got them all stocked up too. But, if you are not really into cooking then worry not, there is a choice restaurants just a kilometer away!
For those who like to take it easy, there is a variety of good reads available, alcohol in the cash bar, and for the others who like to stay connected there is free internet too!
OT lodge are also Pet friendly, so you don’t have to leave your non-human friend behind. Don’t be surprised to be welcomed by “Jack – The Dog” either!
Sited on the busy …… street, this home turned lodge is an ideal getaway for people touring the Garden Route, there is enough information at the reception to plan your own visit to all places close-by or not!
OT lodge is just what the doctor ordered to recover from the symptoms of busy city life. It’s scenic, its’ practical and a fantastic reason to visit George again. We simply loved our stay.
