Rooms were extremely comfortable and clean, excellent breakfast choices, and a perfect place to relax. Nice garden area and pool available for guests. Your host Gerrie was welcoming and a font of knowledge about local restuarants and advice about bookings etc. Would certainly recommend Constantia Palms and would definitely return.

We now use Gerrie's for several days at the start and end of our annual mid-Jan to mid-Feb trip to SA. It is the perfect place to chill out before we set off into the winelands and garden route and then to wind down at the end of the trip before setting off for home. Very central, safe, lovely accommodation and breakfasts, perfect for sunbathing to the sound of the waterfall in the garden.

Having read other reviews, I find it difficult to add to the superlatives already said about Constantia Palms. Your host Gerrie is a fount of knowledge and always there with a smile and chat. The guest house location could not be better, with easy access to good restaurants, wine farms and Cape Town. Also you are en route to Cape Peninsular and all its attractions. The rooms are all first class, in size, comfort and amenities - I wouldn't want to single out any one in preference. The breakfast could not be faulted, with every item you might want, and I suspect if its not there then Gerrie would get it for you. The garden and pool area I found stunning with adequate loungers for those wanting to top up their vitamin D.
We have visited Cape Town for many years, and this year we spent 11 nights in Constantia Palms for the first time. Needless to say we will return on any future visit to Cape Town.
Thanks for a wonderful stay.

A great location near Cape Town for exploraing the Cape itself and for tasting the lovely Constantia wines. We had a big room, terrace, lovely bathroom and the host was super helpful in giving advice for the rest of our South African trip. Local restaurant was very close and just perfect.

We stayed in mid-December and found the accommodation and hospitality to be excellent. Our host was very helpful with suggesting restaurants and activties as well as helping with reservations. The Constantia Valley is beautiful with many amenities including the oldest wine estate in South Africa and has many good restaurants. We also found this a good base for exploring the Cape area and Cape Town.

This was our second visit at Constantia Palms and hopefully not our last.
We staid 3 nights, and enjoyed a comfortable room with its very nice furniture, beautiful bathroom, and perfect breakfast.
Gerrie, the host, again assisted us with restaurant bookings, good advices, a lot of humor, etc, etc.
Constantia is a well-off, quiet suburb from Capetown, near to the wine estates, the botanical Garden, Capetown centre, and the most
scenic attractions of Capetown region.
We again had a lovely stay and a great memory
Thank you very much Gerrie

I stayed at Constantia Palms for one night. The guest house has a central location in Constantia. Constantia is a stunning upmarket neighbourhood in Cape Town within close proximity to some excellent wine farms and Kirstenbosch Gardens. There are some very good restaurants in Constantia and the views are spectacular.

Please note that no signage is visible upon arrival but Gerrie will probably welcome you and show you the secure parking available.

The room is beautifully furnished and the attention to detail is impressive. I specifically appreciated the bath salts, Oral B tootbrush charger, the quality of the bedding, the coffee and the large bathroom (a bath and shower is available). A full range of toiletries are provided in the bathroom.

A hair dryer, fan, coffee and tea making facility and magazines are provided in the room. The position of the mirror in the room makes it very convenient when using the hairdryer. The room also has ample cupboard space. The bed was very comfortable. Please bring your own gown should this be required.

My room had a sliding door leading to a private patio with a beautiful garden view.

Breakfast the next morning was served at the desired time. I was very impressed with the flair with which the breakfast was presented. The breakfast room has a pleasant view on the pool and a tropical garden.

The room was very clean and I would not hesitate staying here on another business trip.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a private patio.
