As a local restaurant with a good but unpretentious menu this restaurant takes a lot to beat. A varied menu with daily specials served by an efficient and helpful waiter. The restaurant is quite large yet intimate feeling and the good is well prepared and presented. Well worth at least one or more visits

Very nice atmosphere, with excellent food and affordable cuisine.

This was the big surprise during our last Cape Town visit and we really love it.

Best dish for us are the home made pasta with prawn and chorizo. Would die for it.

Spend our christmas eve dinner directly in front of the cooking station and it was fabolous and in fact our real cuisine adventure.

Great staff, worked hard but always with fun and passion.

If you're in Constantia, try to spend time there!

I wanted to try here, after visiting Societi Bistro on our last holiday. I was very impressed. An excellent menu. Not too long - just right with some interesting specials for both food and wine.
I had the summer salad - amazingly light and wonderful flavours, followed by the pork belly. Probably the best pork belly I have ever tasted! Excellent wine list and very good value, especially the specials. Service was top notch, and the general manager was very friendly.
I also loved the atmosphere - there was a bar to sit at and exposed brickwork in the restaurant. Had a definite European feel to it
Definitely somewhere to choose on your holidays, if you are staying in Constantia.

We visited this restaurant with a group of friends during a short visit to Cape Town. It is sometimes billed as being in Constantia but it is actually in Tokai. Easy access from the freeway but with some shortage of parking issues. The service was good, the food selection interesting, the decor and style of the restaurant was attractive and welcoming.

The only negative is the poor acoustics, it is very difficult to hold a normal conversation over dinner , which gets annoying as one eventually leaves the restaurant hoarse from having to shout to be heard.

Stopped here by recommendation of the staff at Steenberg Winery and LOVED it! Pork Belly was decadent, salads were delicious and service charming! Worth the drive from Capetown!
