Having had a mediocre experience at Simon's earlier in the year we decided to have a second visit to find out if it was just one of those occasions. It wasn't.This time we booked ahead and were promptly and politely shown to our table. While ordering our meals we were joined by a dog - yes a dog. Having commented to the staff that the dog and its owners should be reseated outside nothing happpened. Both meals were served promptly but were very average in quality and quantity. Not in any way up to the standard expected and for which Simon's was well known for in the past. The scenic view and surroundings, as ever, were stunning but you can't eat that. Improvement is needed.
