Belthazar came highly recommended to us from not one but 2 other establishments on Cape Town's Victoria & Alfred wharf.
We sat outside on cool and windy night (I suspect it is often windy there), but at least they had outside heaters.
The food was excellent - fillet steak with sweet potato fries.
Others around us seemed to be enjoying their food too.
The main drawback was that is was extremely busy, even for a week night. This meant it was crowded and loud, and even the waiters had trouble pushing past tables to get to you. The staff, though friendly and helpful, were very busy, and you never felt particularly special.
Still, great meat!
