Description: Enjoy creative contemporary cooking in a visually exciting venue. With its historic Table Mountain stone and old brick that dates back to the 18th century, architect Leon Saven's design is complemented by glass, concrete and exposed ducting. Cabbage motif chandeliers and salt dishes, fine table appointments and impeccable service reflect outstanding attention to detail. The menu alters daily, using the freshest local produce and combines unusual flavours to excite the palate of the discerning diner. Free range organic and ethically sourced ingredients. Allergies catered for. A boutique wine list which is very reasonably priced.

Went in party of four and sampled everything from warthog and kudo, to in my case "three little piggies" pork belly, loin and fillet. Meal was superb and service excellent. Our waiter for the evening "Taku" was great, offering sound advice and proferring samples from the fantastic wine list. Highly recommended. Booking would appear to be a must as we saw a number of arrive on the night diners turned away.

The restaurant is very particular all made of stones and with a big security gate at the entrance.located in the city, 10 mins by car from waterfront, offers you a very nice selection of southafrican food and wine. The food is very well done and also light, the service is very good as well, very careful about what you like an what you don't like. The ambience is very cool and not so touristic. The owner is very nice and welcomes you with a big smile! I would definetely recommend it if you are in Capetown!

Came to the Savoy Cabbage for dinner on our trip in Cape Town and was very impressed with the food. Had the Kudu which was cooked perfectly. My sister-in-law is vegan and was very, very happy with the food she received, even though we hadn't pre-ordered any special meal. Only slightly strange part of the meal was the chap running the front of house. He squeezed past our table twice to look at something behind us over the balcony and didn't say a single thing in passing.
