We were lucky to get a room as we booked at the last minute on the weekend of the Cape bicycle race. Klaus and Chris were very apologetic that there was only one standard room available but it was fantastic. The quality of everything at the 2Inn1 was spectacular. The rooms and bathrooms (sorry no bath) were beautifully decorated and the room had a DVD player with a library of DVD to choose from. My only disappointment was that the double bed was in fact two very comfortable beds put together.
The staff were delightful and available and the breakfast buffet was fresh and nicely presented. I didn't get to try the omlettes but they looked delicous. The pool has a nice seating area and my favourite spot was having "sundowners" on the terrace in the shadow of Table Mountain and Lions Head and as a bonus the drinks were included in the room price at cocktail hour!
Whilst Klaus and Chris are happy to make bookings for restaurants, Robben Island etc we enjoyed getting out to see what was around. Nearby down Kloof Street (5 minutes walk) there were several restaurants although its a bit shabby. We liked Gainsbourg Cafe or Melissa's food store.
