The hospitality and service at this hotel is very special. The rooms are spotless, and well appointed.

Sitting round the pool which is beautifully done with airy armchairs
You appreciate how hotels used to be

I came from the Weston where I had to deliver a Europa hire car. I asked for an afternoon tea. The waitress said no bother and went off for a lunch menu - after waiting forever 20 mins I have up and left. Apparently this hotel charges Rand 5700 for the privilege for very bad service.

Got a taxi to four rosmead where I am staying and was welcomed in, given tea and a super ploughmans lunch - spot on

There is no comparison with the big hotels, this hotel wins hands down

Staff provided outstanding service. Room was fabulous. Great bathroom, outside shower. Entire hotel's decor very special. Excellent location in private neighborhood. We would defiantly come back again!

We have been at Rosmead only for one night on Dec 26th 2013, staff lady has welcomed us very warmly, offering to choose which room we preferred. Rooms are contemporary design, lot of space and light and an amazing view of the Lion's head Mountain. Very nice pool area, the living area decor is contemporary African design. Definitely a place where to come back!

We stayed at Four Rosemead in the beginning of December for our honeymoon. It was incredible in every way.

We loved that is was a boutique hotel. The staff was so kind and helpful. They helped plan our day, made dinner reservations for us, helped set up tours and made great recommendations based on our interests. The service really was exceptional. The breakfasts were also fantastic. They menu was different every day and all the ingredients were fresh.

Our room was large and well appointed. The staff made sure to make our stay special because of our honeymoon, but they also recognized my birthday with a small gift!

In terms of location, it's off the beaten tourist path, but this is a good thing. Cape Town is easily navigable, and you don't need to be on top of everything. We loved being in a quiet neighborhood that was in walking distance to the fun Kloof Street.

We'd highly recommend Rosemead!

We stayed here for 4 nights on the first leg of our honeymoon dec 2013. The hotel is lovely and rooms well appointed as you'd expect. What made the difference was the staff. They helped us organise everything in Cape Town from table mountain tickets, township tours to dinner reservations. All were excellent and we loved our stay. The area of kilo of street is a short walk and we felt very safe, walking home at night from local bars etc.
