If ever you are going to be poorly abroad make sure you are staying at this delightful hotel. I was struck down with gastroenteritis and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who called a doctor and made sure we felt as comfortable as possible, given the circumstances. They are genuinely lovely people although I would say that if you like a bath (as do I) then check before booking as there are only a few in the building.

Room Tip: Luxury are definitely worth the extra but you need to book early. Very few bedrooms have baths so ch...

This hotel is one of the best I've stayed in.
Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The location is perfect, with views of the city and Table Mountain, and it's an easy and safe 30 minute stroll downhill to the centre of town.
The breakfasts were wonderful, and recommendations for evening meals were all good.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone who wants a pleasant and comfortable stay in Cape Town.

After 3 nights in Pumba Game Reserve in Port Elizabeth we travelled to Cape Town to stay at this fabulouse boutique B&B. The staff were so friendly, they couldnt do enough for you and were very knowledgeable. The intimacy was just lovely and the location was perfect for everything. Breakfast was amazing and a fantatsic choice. Would definately recommend this B&B to anyone going to Cape Town. It was a perfect end to the first leg of our honeymoon.

Words can hardly describe how good Four Rosmead is. All round it was the best accommodation we stayed at in SA, as always. Very attentive staff who go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. Lovely breakfasts and, although not used this time, the potential to have a take away meal served in the dining room at night is good. We had a wonderful modern, spacious room with an exceptional ensuite facility. It is good to have secure parking. Local taxis (use advised at night) are inexpensive to get to/from restaurants. The Mount Nelson Hotel, nearby, for afternoon tea (165 ZAR) should be a must for any visitor. Unending hospitality at 4 Rosmead from a great team. The personal touch is something that you just cannot get in hotels. Easy drive to Cape Town airport. Even with a very early start (4:30) you get a good breakfast served by helpful staff.

What a special place - a warm and welcoming ambience and always helpful staff. We arrived at midnight due to a delay in our flight and even at that time we were greeted and given a tour of the place by the Security Guard, since the rest of the staff were off at that late time. The design of this guesthouse is open, airy and contemporary with lots of works of art, which adds a homey and warm feel. Our room had a lovely patio and windows on the other 2 sides, which made for good views and lots of light. One breakfast we had outside above the pool and the others were inside - all delicious and the spaces to eat are lovely. The cold choices were fresh and appealingly presented and the warm dishes were prepared well. Nadine or Sonya would ask us in the morning if we needed any advice or suggestions and they helped with reservations or whatever was needed. The location of this guesthouse is ideal for walking to the downtown area of Capetown and taxis were inexpensive to other places a little further away. The entire staff must be well-trained and enjoy they work, because the place is immaculately clean and each guest feels special. Sometimes you just find a rare gem and this is it in Capetown.

Fantastic contemporary hotel in a great location for all Cape Town's sites. But what really sets it apart is the staff. I have never experienced such excellent customer service. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are genuinely pleased to help. All of the staff were brilliant but a special shout for Sonia

Four Rosmead is a beautiful place, the room was fantastic, breakfast lovely. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Jade. Great location - easy to get to Waterfront, Table Mountain, Camps Bay in a taxi.
