I can thoroughly recommend the Southern Sun Cape Town Hotel.
The overall experience starting from the Valet parking to morning check out was courteous & efficient.
At check in I was welcomed by the Customer Relations Officer Shaun McKenzie who later during a half hour electricity outage continuously circled the reception/lobby ensuring that the Guests were comfortable & kept updated with the work being undertaken to restore power.
At Dinner the Maître d'hotel Cecelia was attentive without being intrusive.
The Guest-rooms, whilst being a little tired, are generous in size & fully appointed ( No bar fridge)
Breakfast was superb & my car was waiting outside on time to depart.
Altogether I was left with a feeling of well-being & the staff are to be complimented especially as the Hotel was running at full capacity due to the fact that the annual Cape Argus cycle race was scheduled for the weekend. More
