The views are amazing, and impressive, even if not up to TM! The para gliders added another dimension to the visit, and it is all free.

“Beautiful sunset”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Disliked toilet facilties, dirty and no toilet paper !

Liked the view and the vibe. Ate a picnic supper and drank wine while watching the sunset with family and others.

“Accessible for everyone”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

You can enjoy great views over the greater Cape Metropolitan area, Table Mountain and Sea Point from Signal Hill. If you're unable to climb Lion's Head, this is a great alternative as there's no climbing required. It offers great views for free.

Depending on the wind direction, you can also watch paragliders take off from signal hill.

There is a parking lot but it can get quite full on beautiful days during peak holiday times.

“A must at sunset”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

First Climb Lion's Head and than enjoy the Sunset with a Bottle of wine.
Start your walk at the Upper entry point. To Walk Down lion's Head in the dark needs experience. We Never heard of any crime.

“Amazing and clever!”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

really great for pictures, we could actually see it from Protea President hotel too. The taxi driver who took us up said that cloud hangs around it when the weather is going to change and thats how they know!
