“Great hike & stunning views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2014

The walk is fairly comfortable and very scenic to the top of Lions Head. The last part is more tough and somewhat treacherous. Once you get to the top the view is stunning.

“Great hike & views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2014

This isn't the easiest hike, requiring some scrambling up rocks, climbing ladders, rungs, and pulling yourself along with chains. Nothing most people of even average fitness probably couldn't handle though if you place yourself.

“Can you see it”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2014

This is good if you have a little imagination. It also needs to be viewed from the correct direction. Have not yet found a way to get up though. Maybe because you can't

“Best to visit during full moon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2014

Lions head peak is one of the unique place where one could see 360 degree view from the top.
During full moon, if one could manage to hike to the top, can see beautiful sunset, fullmoon and Cape Town city at night. Everything looks so beautiful from the top, specially table mountain.
