We loved our hike on Lion's Head, it starts as an easy trail winding around the mountain with lots of birds to spot and great views. It then becomes a bit more difficult, there are two routes, one using chains and ladders up and a slightly longer, flatter route. The top is flat also so you can sit and take in the spectacular vista. It is a challenging hike at times so good footwear would be advisable but even if you only do the walking trail at the start you'll have a great time.
