The best views of the Twelve Apostles is from the Clifton Beach and the Chapman's Peak. This is a lovely mountain range.

We drove along the road below the Twelve Apostles. It was a beautiful view and had plenty stops to get out and admire the view.

“Hidden Cannons”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

We visited while on the Hop on Hop off Bus Tour. It is interesting to note that these mountains contain caves that were used to hide cannons during the past wars. They were used to protect the Cape from enemy ships. The cannons can shoot out from their hiding places and were difficult to spot from the sea. Some of these cannons still function as we discovered at the Simonstown Naval Fair when they were fired as part of the show.

“Breathtaking sunsets”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

The Twelve Apostles have a great setting for sun downers with beautiful sunsets to be seen from their bar patio. They have an amazing Spa (for treatments) which is situated in a cave like setting. Wonderful floatation tank inside Spa.
