This museum of South African and world slavery is extremely well presented through many rooms of the former slave lodge near to the parliament building. You start with an informative film and then walk through the rooms depicting different aspects of slavery. Everything is well laid out and easy to follow without having to read through a lot of detail. We learned a great deal about the history of the slave trade and the awful injustice and misery it inflcited. There is a final section on aparheid which is also highly informative. Altogether a very important museum which everyone whould visit.
