This is a small restaurant with a nice cozy athmosphere, pleasantly and softly lit. The restaurant owner, Erica, is a young woman from Genova with charming ways and a distinctive Italian accent. The service is excellent, but most importantly the food is really good.
The pizza bases are thin and at the same time not too dry, with the best tomato sauce I have ever had in Cape Town, fresh and must be home made, and with real mozzarella dollops (uncommon in Cape Town). Pasta dishes and mains vary from day to day, the slowly cooked beef dish (brasato) and the veal are delicious, I still need to try more.
Prices are good, some of the pizzas are a bit above average, but then again the quality is way above average, so I will totally go back for more.
