City Sightseeing Cape Town Hop-On Hop-Off Tour

On my recent trip to Cape Town I used the Turkish baths after my long flight over. It was a relaxing experience, not the most upmarket bath house I have been to, but was lovely to unwind. The attendant is very helpful, many will make you an iced tea for R10 total bargain.
They provide towels, and a small private bedroom for you to change and relax in between baths/ hot rooms.
There is two steam rooms, a sauna and a large open hot room, as well as a cold plunge pool.
As mentioned it is quite grundy, the crowd is very mixed all races, and nudity is allowed although not many locals are in the buff. Otherwise enjoyable for a cheap R95 experience to unwind

absolutely chilled out crowd and the place to be if you are in a mood to party. The bars are open till late and then are also a few eateries open till late, in case you fancy a quick bite after the party. Lots of places around, so have a walk across the street (won't take you more than 15-20 minutes), before you choose your place to sit and drink and perhaps meet some locals and party with them

I know this is drinking central at night, but during the day, there are some interesting shops, boutiques & art shops, along with coffee shops, juice bars & I wide array of food options.

If you are looking for a relaxed evening with vibrant music and a choice of pubs and bars... this is the place to go to. (V&A waterfront is good too - but its a bit more upmarket and lot more sedate).
... Long street is much more happening on weekends... parties are on till 3-4 am. Lots of choices (Irish bars, african music bars, seedy joints as well). Good music, cheap beer, packed with youngsters having a good time. Some people say its not safe out alone at night - didn't find that true at all... Was out on a weekend and a weekday - till 2-3 am and never had any trouble.
