“Best South African University”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

South Africa's oldest University and the leading teaching and research institution. Set in the most magnificent location, with monumental old buildings, beautiful gardens and friendly, helpful staff.

“Take in a show”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

Attended a one man show (normality) at the University....thoroughly enjoyed it! The theatre was small & quaint almost like a private viewing! Would encourage other tourists to take the time to attend one of their productions if they are that way inclined!

“UCT”

Voted one of the most spectacular campuses in the world, the university is set on the slopes of Table Mountain. You will drive past it on the M3 out of town towards the southern suburbs.

“Ivy leafed building with a view to die for”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

This is a beautiful traditional university high up on the hill and there is a lovely view of Cape Town and the harbour from in front of the buildings. Often covered in mist and cold rain in Winter but in summer it would seduce anyone to study there.

“College Life”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Had a nice trip to UCT as our daughter was studying there. We were lucky to be able to sit in on a class, which we loved! A short walk over the the Rhodes Memorial for lunch affords beautiful views of Cape Town. Be sure to stop by the bookstore for a sweatshirt, the one gift everyone in our family was thrilled with upon our return.
