Beautiful Cape Town weather, fantastic spot that almost felt like the French Riviera. Wide variety of restaurants with interesting Cocktails and holiday vibes.

Drive the beaches from both sides, Look to the left and right, to the mountains and the sea. Stop if possible and go down to some of the beaches to feel the icy water and get impressed by the monstrous rocks.

Spent time playing in the waves and sunbathing. Beautiful views, clean, safe and serene environment, as well as less crowds. Beautiful place to relax either solo or with company.

Nothing special in that beaches. I missed some places to drink or eat something. Are OK, but not special.

If you are concern about safety, worry not, Clifton Beaches are safe.
There are always guys patrolling making sure you enjoy your tan while they look after you and your belongings.

Clifton beach is the perfect location to spend a hot summer's day in Cape Town. Lots to see and do! Close to trendy restaurants, tourist attractions with lifeguards on duty

The atmosphere at beach 3 and 4 is fantastic. We liked it not only during the day but especially in the early evening.

Clifton has 4 beaches, separated by big granite boulders.Standing on street level, facing the ocean, the start from 1st beach furthest on the right, to 4th beach on the left. 1st and 4th beach have public toilets that are open in the day, but locked at night. You have to use the stairs to get down to the beach and can be a bit exhausting, but worth it. 4th beach has the least amount of steps and the most parking. There are no shops by these beaches, but you do have guys selling, water, cold drinks and ice cream on the beach. In the holiday seasons, one can rent beach chairs and umbrellas, go for a beach massage or rent a Stand Up Paddle board (SUP). They have life guards on duty and the bay is really lovely for swimming, although the water is very cold. Boats and yachts like to anchor off close to 4th beach, making for fabulous pictures of the bay.

Well from a general rule of thumb if I have to state that all the beaches of Cape Town are heavenly than I won't be lying.

From Hout Bay to Camps bay, Clifton Bay to Sandy Bay all the beaches were to die for, When I took my customary tour of City Sightseeing bus I came across all of them and loved it all. Clifton Beach got a special mention by our guide for being the beach of the rich and the famous as all expensive houses, villas and bunglows were around this beach,
