Unless you are a history freak, this building will bore you to tears. It is in such bad shape because it is not being maintained properly that I am almost ashamed to think international visitors go there.

I wish there was something interesting to see here, because according me, there isn't anything. It won't add any spice to your trip if you visit, really. Just go up what's looming behind you-the table mountain.

Great for visiting for a short period. Informative. The noon shooting of the cannon was the most fun.

Visited the Castle of GH in September together family who were visiting from the UK. Was not that impressed with the offerings of this site, as compared to many other wonders of CT. Could easily skip this if on tour of Cape Town, or use this as a filler-in if you've run out of options or places to visit.
Parking is offered outside the Castle, but this was not clearly sign-posted.
Great views of Table Mountain from the courtyard.
